herself.

conceptually inspired by chris maker’s la jetée, this project is meant to tell a story through a series of only still images.

my interpretation of this concept tells the story of a woman alone getting ready for an evening out, but allows the viewer to fill in whether this solitude is positive or negative. i understand that being alone is different for everyone, as some people love it and some people are quite literally terrified of it.
